PHP-Master-Web: unable to open CVS users file

When creating/rejecting notes I get the following error:

Warning: fopen(/repository/CVSROOT/passwd): failed to open stream: No
such file or directory in
/local/Web/sites/php-master-web/include/cvs-auth.inc on line 10
unable to open CVS users file

I suspect it extends over the entire php-master-web.
Is anyone looking into this?

Should work fine, as the file is there and readable by everybody.
(And write those mails to systems@ php.net instead)
