Can you use the mysqli_prepare function to UPDATE MySQL or is it
just limited to an INSERT statement?

For example.
$stmt = mysqli_prepare($db, 'UPDATE proj_overview SET proj_id = ?,
proj_name = ?, ...

and so on...
mysqli_stmt_bind_para...
mysqli_stmt_execute...
