Hi!

I'm having some problems compiling PHP 4.4.2 on Linux. I downloaded,=20
compiled and installed apache 2.2 without any trouble, but when I do=20
'make' for PHP 4.4.2, I get the following problem:

ext/pcre/pcrelib/pcre_chartables.lo: file not recognized: File truncated
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [libphp4.la] Error 1

I am new to Linux so I don't really know what to do about this. I=20
looked for this file pcre_chartables.lo and found that it exists in the=20
source folder but is only 1 byte in size. Is that normal?

Is this one of the files being built or part of the source? Please =
help=20
because I'm really !

Thanks in advance,
Will Daniels
