Hello
I have been asked to upgrade PHP to its latest version on a Sun Solaris 8
Server. This server is running Apache2, mysql and vbulletin.
I have a couple of questions:
Do I have to touch apache or Mysql? or can I just ./configure PHP?
Will the configure overwrite the current installation of PHP?
Is it best to save any files before the upgrade?
I would be grateful for any help as this is a live server with lots of
users who are not going to be that happy if PHP does not work after
upgrade.
Many Thanks
John
