The standard httpd.conf file with my RH 7.2 (the last version I have
that is 1.3.x rather than 2.x) is 50852 bytes. If you look at it, much
is explanation rather than actual configuration.

Any specific questions then the file should help, if not the httpd
manual (I'm not familiar with a modern SuSE but it should come with it)
or it is available at httpd://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/ for the V2
manual and httpd://httpd.apache.org/docs/ for the V1.3 one. If these do
not cover your query then please ask, but if complex and not php related
then a specific httpd mailing list might yield more results.
