I hope I don't offend anyone. I'm just saying hi. I was wondering if
anyone can give me a beginning problem to work on. I read "the camel"
from O'Rielly, they said one of the good things about Perl is the
community. Well, thank you...

What's your OS? If *nix or GNU, you might try writing a color ls. All
sorts of little problems to keep track of.

For what purpose is the problem? Just to increase and/or test your own
knowledge? Or to serve an actual useful purpose that needs to be done?

If the former, you could take a look at my past course websites, and do
one of my homework assignments:
http://cgi2.cs.rpi.edu/~lallip/perl...homeworks.shtml A sample
solution is also posted for each one so you can check your answers.

If the latter, browse search.cpan.org, find a module that interests
you, and then look at its bug list, and get to work trying to fix them.

Misspelling the names of people trying to help you is generally
considered rude. Please take more care when posting a reply.

Uhm. Okay? Is there some reason you felt the desire to share this
information with me?

Did you have another question of some kind?

Very sorry, Paul... that information was for John. Who asked me what
kind of OS I am using. I didn't mean to make you . No, I have no
other questions, thanks for all your help.

Not at all . Just . You thanked me, but then posted
information that was wholly irrelevant to anything I'd asked.

If you're replying to more than one person, it's better to write more
than one reply, and reply to each message directly.

I was just wondering because I couldn't think of anything interesting to
write for Windows.

And thanks for making me not the newest person around here.
