PERL Beginners - Need help adding a module

Hey,

I need a little help. I’ve been trying to install this module on ActivePERL forever and can never get it to work. Basically I’m trying to install Crpyt:SSLeay.

I tried using PPM but I couldn’t get that to work. Looking under PPM, I couldn’t find the SSLeay – of Crypt so I googled and downloaded the gz.tar of Crypt::SSLeay. Extracted everything and then I had no idea what to do. I found some guides on installing modules but that didn’t work, basically it told me to look for the PPM file or something like that. Also, when I went to the Makefile.pl or something like that, it would always ask me aobut OpenSSL, needing that to be installed. So I went and downloaded OpenSSL and tried to install that too but I’ve been having trouble.

I was hoping someone can walk me through the steps of just being able to get Crypt::SSLeay installed because I’ve been trying this whole w

and obviously I’m getting nowhere. I’ll start from scratch if that’s what it takes to install it. Just need someone to help me out.
