Hi all,

I recenlty install PXPerl on my window xp. The
documentations come with perl6 bible stuff. Out of
curiosity I read some of the object section and data
type/variable in Perl 6. It looks like we have to
predeclare a lot of types of variables before we can
use them, just like those in JAVA. Any comments?

Li

I am not from a computer science background so it
migh give me a big headache if I have to predeclare
many types/variables before I can use them(at least
right now I am comfortable with only three variables
that perl5 provides: $, @ and %). So why do you think
it is a good feature for Perl6 to have many
types/varibles there?

Li
