Hi NG,

I'm not sure if this is the right news group to ask my q in?

Im running Debian Linux on my computer!
>uname -a
>Linux blahbox 2.4.26 #1 SMP Sa Apr 17 19:33:42 CEST 2004 i686 GNU/Linux

My problem is that i cant get suid perl installed using apt-get.. this
is what i get:
>apt-get install perl-suid
>Reading Package Lists... Done
>Building Dependency Tree... Done
>The following packages have unmet dependencies:
> perl-suid: Depends: perl (= 5.8.3-3) but 5.8.4-2 is to be installed
> Depends: libperl5.8 (= 5.8.3-3) but 5.8.4-2 is to be
>installed
>E: Broken packages

I understand this as my Perl and libperl5.8 is to new?
What do I need to do? I need suid perl installed because another app
needs it.

I hope some one can help me.. Thanks.

/Jesper
