Author Module version numbers, installed but not there?

I've upgraded my Debian install and Spamassassin is complaining:
"Net::DNS version is 0.19, but need 0.34dnsavailable-1 at
/usr/share/perl5/Mail/SpamAssassin/Dns.pm line 1230."

So I fired up cpan, I typed "install Net::DNS", it errored near the end
of the install and said it wouldn't do it without "force" so I:

force install Net::DNS

That seemed to go OK, if I do "m Net::DNS" it reports version 0.48. But
spamassassin --lint is still telling me I only have 0.19, any ideas what
I must do to fix this?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Justin.
