| which one do i need. I had it and was able to use one but i don't remember
which one i had downloaded last time. I tried to do a search * on one of
them for respor............ i forget how to spell that word you suppose to
find and then install it so you can run perl. thanks in advance. Hope you
can help.

I assume you're asking which version of ActivePerl you should install? If
so, use the MSI. As it says on the ActiveState site:
The Windows AS Package provides NO uninstall functionality, and is
recommended only if you are unable to install ActivePerl using the MSI
installer.
