Hi you all!
The line above was written into a Intermec EasyCoder 501XP
printerdriver by a company which delivered an automatic
labelapplicator.
It tells the printer/applicator to read two files on the PC-Hosts C:\.
Because of this initiationsequence, the connection between PC and
printer needs to be a serial nullmodemcable to support XON/XOFF!
We've lost the support, because of a conflict between my ex-boss
and the company that delivered the printer/applicator.
Before he quit his job, he told me it was up to me to get this working :(
I had to update the system, now running XPHome,Labelshop Ultra 6.12 and the latest InterDriver.
The problem is the new driver(which I need, by the way)where's the
option to write the initiationsequence has changed alltogether!
I have those four options "startjob, startprint, endprint, stopjob"
All with individual settings with the option to put a function
character in front of the command. Available is none,^,~,!,_,\ and /.
After that there's an option with lots of commands like
<nul>,<stx>, in total 33 of them + the option to load files!
This option however prefers .prn files but ther's also the option
to load all files.
How can I translate the line at the top into this new driver?
I don't really think anyone can help me. I'm writing this out of
desperation, not hope!
Greetings from Sweden!
