i know my style turns many away
it could be my aspergers / subclinical autism
or some other mental illness
but at least it identifies me clearly as a crank or troll
and provides a convenient obstacle to real information exchange
the original reason of my post
was to ask if a request for data from a research team
is considered bad process in the agile philosophy
a friend and business partner
has been regularly told that the request should not have been made
not just by poor phlip (who's quote i started the posts with)
both herself and i felt she had taken the appropriate
and professional
action
and i suspect that much of the reasoning for such admonishments
arise from reasons specific to its controversial nature
this got me thinking about process
so i posed:
a) were the actions taken appropriate agile process?
b) if so, is it acknowledged that there may be process
promoted by the agile community
yet still inappropriate for reasons outside agility?
it is b) that most concerns me
as i had not thought there may be conflict here

no
nor have i developed any engines that run off static electricity
or built architectural monuments to man
even computer programs
do not obey either-or
when asked whether they halt
the curry-howard isomorphism
shows computation to be non-arstotelian
i fear
though
discussion of this would be off-topic to the group posted to
