eXtremos:

A "pair station" is a workstation configured for pair programming.

Dual keyboards and mice are becoming popular here, and multiple monitors are
popular everywhere.

Now suppose I were co-piloting, and I

Ethically, this is correct, right? I won't get lost reading www.sluggy.org
or something, right?

Technically, I can grab a wireless notebook. Or I could redirect my
keyboard, mouse, and monitor to my own CPU, and Google without interrupting
my colleague developing.

To shunt the keyboard, I have heard of folks using VNC. But that would seem
to waste one (or two) monitors. And we can't use Windows Terminal, because
that opens a new Desktop for each connection to a CPU.

How to shunt the keyboard and mouse (preferably on >=WinXP) without using an
AB box? How, when not shunted, to fully use the avoid losing extra monitor?

many thoughts as possible...

Now suppose that I wanted to help by Googling for some technical tidbit. So
I grab a computer different from my pair's, and go surfing.
