We are just learning about Extreme Programming. Can anyone recommend some
good Texts/Books/Manuals that would be worth reading and owning?

Thanks.
/Susan.

Hi Susan,

Others here can probably tell you about books but I found

http://www.extremeprogramming.org/ and
http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?ExtremeProgramming

worth reading.

"Lean Software Development" by Mary and Tom Poppendieck.

As far as XP itself, there are a lot of books out of varying quality. I'd
recommend looking at several of the XP web sites for reviews, and
remember that some of the people who appear to write authoritively
not only don't have any experiance, their interest is in discrediting the
process.

Visit a good bookstore. ;->

Addison-Wesley has published a number of good books.
See:
http://www.aw-bc.com/catalog/academ...,123090,00.html
Which, for some reason, does not include all the XP books they
publish. Do a search.
"Extreme Programming Examined" for example:
