Job Description:
Java Senior Technical Analyst
MUST HAVE Java 1.5, Hibernate OR Spring!!
Responsibilities: Under the general direction of a manager, and
within
the
guidelines of the Systems Development Life Cycle, is responsible for
providing technical direction and guidance to individual associates,
project
teams, and groups as assigned. This technical leadership position
will be
responsible for developing web-based PDA solutions. Responsibilities
also
include developing new in-store applications and improving existing
applications to keep pace with the changing needs of our business.
Specific
assignments will include application design, development,
enhancement,
maintenance and support of in-store web applications. There may be
times
when supervision of other associates, project monitoring or coding of
programs or sub-routines is an assigned task. Participates in the
evaluation of software tools and also in platform decisions
Key Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must
have
superior problem solving, technical, problem solving and analytical
skills.
Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment
Experience Required:
Five plus years of experience of Java web development,
utilizing J2EE, JSP, Servlets and Struts. Proficient in XML/XSL,
HTML and
SQL. Must have strong working knowledge of Java web application
development. Must have experience with relational database/SQL
knowledge.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical
requirements.
Knowledge of application design principles, practices, systems
development
and analysis. Demonstrated recent experience with web development
projects.
