Position : Business Analyst -Middle Level
Location : Colorado Springs, CO
Duration : 12-24 Months

Description:
1. Candidates are required to have at least 2 years telecom experience
& local candidates will be given priority.
2. Position requires a Computer Science degree, and 7+ years business
analyst experience on large scale software development projects.
3. Must have excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.
4. Business Analyst (BA) is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for NGSN,
Voice Portal, Web Center and ISN platforms.
5. The BA is responsible for developing design requirements and
analysis of both current and proposed systems on the NGSN, Voice
Portal, Web Center and ISN platforms.
6. Assists with on-going production support of installed applications
and ensure identified production problems are corrected in a timely
manner.
7. Develop and publish project status reports as required.
8. Assist in resolution of issues that arise during the developmental
process to ensure a quality product is delivered to production.
9. The BA must work closely with numerous teams, both internal and
external to the NGSN/Voice Portal team.
10. The BA provides technical direction to the project team throughout
the entire project lifecycle and also supports teams in any product
troubleshooting efforts.
Skills Required:
Receives general guidance for the accomplishment of short to medium
term goals and operating objectives; plans and executes own work; may
have accountability for first level supervision of staff (focused on
personnel and workflow); generally provides guidance and/or training
to others.
Acts independently and exercises independent judgment and discretion
within generally defined practices and policies to select appropriate
methods or techniques for obtaining solutions. Requires a broad range
of skills within a professional discipline to effectively perform
complex assignments; demands familiarity with principles, theories,
concepts and technologies as well as applied knowledge of established
procedures, policies and practices.
