| Systemania Inc, is looking for an SMS administrator for a long term contract
with the goverment.
Position details are below:
Location: Washington, DC - Union Station
Rate: $35/h
Duration: Long Term (1 year ++)
SMS Administrator
Position Description
=============
.. Senior SMS admin to create and deploy SMS packages to workstations and
servers throughout our network.
.. Demonstrated capability to work independently and to provide organization
and leadership skills in a fast paste environment.
.. Should be in an expert in Windows XP professional.
.. Will deploy McAfee updates and windows patches to PCs and servers on the
network.
.. Will create ghost images for new PCs.
.. Will serve as a resource to sub-network administrators and assist in
training junior staff on SMS.
Examples of Duties and Responsibilities
=========================
.. Fully competent and professional position.
.. Acts as an interface between the client, end-users, and the various Data
Center services.
.. Second level support, responsible for moderately complex end-user
requests, hardware/software specific items, and the coordination of
resources.
.. Develops, monitors, and tracks procedures for the Help Desk.
.. Responsible for logs, reports, and documenting recommended procedures.
.. Resolves a wide variety of moderately complex problems.
Requirements
=========
.. Educational: Bachelors or Associates degree, related technical training
(or equivalent experience) plus at least two years of directly related
experience.
.. Hardware: Knowledge of basic hardware.
.. Software: SMS, McAfree, XP Professional troubleshooting, experience
creating ghost images,
.. Functional: Thorough knowledge of telecommunications, network analysis and
feasibility studies.

=====
.. Software: MS Project
.. Functional: Four years experience configuring, tuning, optimizing, and
securing computer systems.
