| Job Title : Software Engineer (SpikeNet)
Job Responsibilities
q Ensure high quality and timely delivery of critical updates to
customers
q Responsibilities of Associate Software Engineer PLUS
q Help develop fixes for high severity issues in open source
components and contribute them to the community
q Integrate component updates in multiple code lines
q Help improve internal build, patch, test, and reporting
tools/processes
q Provide expertise and leadership in 1-2 major components and
languages
q Write technical articles
Qualifications & Experience
q BE/ B-Tech or BS in Computer Science or equivalent
q 2 - 5years of work experience in the software industry
q Proficiency and experience developing and debugging in 1 or
more of Java/C/C++/Perl/PHP/Python.
q Flexible, confident, and enjoy the challenges of a fast-paced
environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills
q Highly motivated, self-starter who can manage many tasks and
meet aggressive deadlines.
q Process-oriented & Customer-focused, Pragmatic, analytical, and
adept at prioritization and trade-off
Desirable
q Experience white-box testing and/or code-line maintenance for a
new startup in enterprise infrastructure software based on open
standards and emerging technologies.
q Experience in shipping a successfully deployed production
quality products
