with C++, Java, Web-based programming and development experience, and
an IEWTPT background, to work in the Intelligence and Electronic
Warfare Tactical Proficiency Training (IEWTPT) arena.
Job Summary:
=B7 Participation in all phases of systems design for development of
simulation & training service-based systems.
=B7 Develop operational concept models, providing system requirements
definition, derivation, and definition of high and low-level system
architectures.
=B7 Provide software / test support during the software implementation
/ test phase of project(s).
=B7 Lead creation / modification of UNIX-based & Windows-based
applications using C++ & Java.
=B7 Provide expertise in applying systematic processes to trade study,
analysis, design, and implementation, integration, as well as test
activities.
=B7 Object-oriented and structured programming experience, a desire to
work with new technologies, and the ability to lead system and software
development teams.
=B7 Requires support for new business pursuits through development of
technical briefings, system design concepts, and proposal development.
Technical support encompasses installation, integration, and testing of
Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Tactical Proficiency Training
(IEWTPT).
=B7 Site lead will assist with installation, system checkout and
certification.
=B7 Provide technical support and services for day-to-day operations,
system upgrades and modifications for both hardware and software
components.
=B7 Provide scheduled and unscheduled system status reports to program
managers.
=B7 Support Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Tactical Proficiency
Training (IEWTPT) training for both operations and maintenance
personnel.
=B7 Monitor configuration management of Intelligence and Electronic
Warfare Tactical Proficiency Training (IEWTPT).
=B7 Verify anti virus programs and associated signature updates,
install patches and updates as required.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
=B7 Primary liaison between prime contactor, sub-contractors and
government personnel for on site support activities.
=B7 Installation, trouble-shooting, and maintaining computer hardware,
software and other equipment, and supporting end users in the use of
such equipment.
=B7 Work with other engineers, systems analysts, programmers, in the
design, testing and evaluation of systems.
=B7 Read technical manuals and brochures to determine which equipment
meets establishment requirements.
=B7 Review project plans in order to plan and coordinate project
activity. Control operational budget and expenditures.
=B7 Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and
others, to solicit cooperation, coordinate activities and resolve
problems.
Required Skills / Experience:
=B7 Previous successful contributions to Systems or Software
requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing on moderate
to large programs.
=B7 Experience and collaboration with external teams.
=B7 Experience with simulation networking protocols (HLA, DIS).
=B7 Demonstrated experience with engineering team leadership and group
coordination.
Desired Skills / Experience:
=B7 Strong background in UNIX and Windows-based development
environments.
=B7 C++ Programming Experience
=B7 Java Programming Experience
=B7 Web-design and development Experience
=B7 Service-based network-centric architectures and automated
development tools.
Travel required: 0 - 25%
Education/Equivalent:
Bachelor's degree (BA.) from four-year college or university;
or one to two year's related experience and/or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Security Clearance Required: Applicants selected will be subject to a
government security investigation and must meet eligibility
requirements for access to classified information. Applicants must be
eligible for working in the United States. Top Secret (TS) US
Department of Defense required; Applicant must be eligible for access
to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Will require SCI
indoctrination prior to work start.
