| Our client is s ing an Analyst that will become an essential team
member within the
Canada Program Management Office for the Canada Change Program. The
Canada Change Program
is a part of the larger Global Change Program that is ongoing. The
Programme involves all areas of the
Insurance organization and IT and will provide an excellent opportunity
to understand not only the
current state of the company, but more importantly its future direction.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Responsible and accountable for twice monthly status tracking of
all projects across
the programme, including milestones, scope, budget,
issues, risks and benefits.
- Responsible for co-ordination of Resource Tracking and monthly review
and reporting of
Resource Plans against Actuals
- Responsible for issues and risk management - ensuring that all identified
risks and
issues are up to date with appropriate scoring, mitigation
plans etc
- Assist in the development of monthly Regional Programme Board and
Global Program Board
presentations (Canadian and Global meetings respectively)
- Ensure that all workstream/project leads understand reporting requirements/due
dates
(status reports, Regional Programme Board, resourcing
etc) on a monthly basis
- Assist with managing Project Definition Reports delivery to Canada
Project Management Office
(PMO) and Global PMO and Project Close out documentation
as required.
Skills Required:
- Strong communication skills as the role involves communicating at
various levels of the
(Executive and Leader levels etc)
- Strong Analytical Skills and is comfortable dealing with financial
details such as
budget/investment and benefits, including tracking
of spend to date, benefits to date etc)
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills
- Detail Oriented
- Self starter
- Willingness to put in necessary time during periods of peak activity
Experience Required
- Experience working in a project based environment and/or project
management an asset
- Experience working with Excel based financial models
- Comfortable working both as part of a team and on own in a fast paced
environment
with tight deadlines
Education:
- University Degree preferred.
