| As a member of our clients team you will be a key member of our innovative
and industry-leading
Platform Integration team. You will report directly to our Lead, Platform
Integration.
Your responsibilities on this team will include several of the following:
§ Specify and develop test scripts for new platform features;
§ Architect our automated build and test infrastructure;
§ Ensure that performance, stress, accuracy and latency measurements
are automated;
§ Verify daily automated results and following up on issues till closure;
§ Create integration plans;
§ Increase automation;
§ Conduct manual testing;
You will work on leading edge integration projects in the emerging
field of voice-enabled Telephony.
VoiceXML technology fuses phones, computers and the internet into a
powerful enabling tool for
businesses and individuals. You will be given the opportunity to expand
your skills in today's
hottest technologies.
Mandatory Qualifications:
§ 2+ years experience in an integration and test environment of a performance
oriented product;
§ Previous exposure to shipping a product in many different configurations;
§ Experience in test automation;
§ Development of Integration and Test Plans, Scripts and Cases;
§ Experience with software programming (in C, C++, Java, JSP, Perl,
VoiceXML or similar);
§ Experience characterizing product performance and benchmarking;
§ Knowledge of Unix based operating systems such as LINUX, Solaris;
and/or W2K/NT
§ Exposure to the formal software/QA processes
§ Excellent written and oral communication skills
§ Ability to take initiatives and drive results
§ University degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Desirable Skills:
§ Computer Telephony Integration (CTI)
§ Telephony and/or VoIP experience
§ VoiceXML Telephony Switch Interfaces (ISDN, T1/E1, 2BCT/RLT, PBX,
SS7)
§ Automated Speech Recognition, Text to Speech and Speaker Verification
engines
§ Telphony hardware (Dialogic, Brooktrout)
§ Voice over IP (H.323, SIP, RTP)
