| Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the support of the PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne
technical foundation.
This includes all aspects of troubleshooting, maintenance and performance
optimization.
This position will work closely with the UNIX, Windows and Database
support teams to provide
continuous operational support. Working within the definition of the
change management process,
this individual will also work with the Infrastructure Architecture
team to implement service packs,
system updates, upgrades and modifications.
Key Responsibilities
-Provides support for EnterpriseOne
-Provides proactive improvement and maintenance to EnterpriseOne
-Leads projects and co-ordinates with other teams to meet the project
needs
-Regularly provides package builds
-Implements monitoring of the system using automated tools to generate
alerts
-Responds to system alerts within established timeframes
-Provides after-hours support as needed, including a rotating 24x7
on-call support
-Travel requirement: 15-30%
Results/Accountabilities:
-EnterpriseOne uptime is 99.5%
-Documentation is available and up to date
-Deadlines and budgets for all activities are met
Relationships with Others Jobs:
-Works in conjunction with the UNIX, Windows, Database and Network
support teams
-Works in conjunction with the ERP Technologies Architect and within
the standards and policies
defined by the Infrastructure Architecture group
Qualification Profile:
-Education and Work Experience:
-Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field
-5 or more years of experience supporting EnterpriseOne (OneWorld/World)
in a large organization
-Experience with all aspects of EnterpriseOne Technical Foundation
(Package Builds, Security,
Product Packaging, Environment Maintenance, etc)
Knowledge and Skills:
-Excellent practical knowledge of CNC
-Strong communication, team building and documentation skills
-Good analytical and problem solving skills
-Self-driven, self-motivated, results-oriented, customer service oriented
and an effective team player.
