RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Understanding business drivers in supply-chain operations, preferably
in large,
multinational industries.

Data integration projects involving multiple sources, challenging data

consistency and compatibility issues, possibly in a point-of-sale environment.

Exposure to multiple database platforms is preferred.

Understanding corporate governance involving policies/procedures/
standards, and processes surrounding governance.

Working on long-term, multi-team projects, including projects with
a
dependency on outside vendors.

Instituting and executing project methodologies, both classical and

proprietary, to meet the needs of the client organization.

Aligning to success and measurement goals of the client enterprise,

and actively participating in their implementation.

Candidate will be participating in:
-Meetings regarding Data Governance/requirements with internal
teams as a representative of ISIT
-Project planning and strategy activities
-Plan revision and progress update
-Various status updates and periodic team meetings
-Steering existing internal development teams
-Deployment activities, including participation in the development
of an NCR
help desk
-Rollout activities

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Experience in data integration projects involving multiple sources,
challenging
data consistency and compatibility issues, possibly in a point-of-sale

environment. Exposure to multiple database platforms is preferred.

Knowledge of corporate governance involving policies/procedures/standards,

and processes surrounding governance.

Experience working on long-term, multi-team projects, including projects
with
a dependency on outside vendors.

Experience instituting and executing project methodologies, both classical

and proprietary, to meet the needs of the client organization.

The ideal candidate will have 7 or more years of experience working
in
end-to-end, full lifecycle projects - from planning and information
gathering
to construction and deployment. Preference will be given to those
with
experience in a consulting environment.

TRAVEL REQUIRED:

The person will have to travel 20% of the time within Canada

MANAGING PEOPLE:

The person will have to manage 4-6 people and maybe up to 10.
