as the Business Analyst will work primarily onsite at client locations.
Business Analysts will play a key role on the engagements by working
with
the client to establish (and document) business requirements, business
processes and identifying the business problem. The Business Analyst
will
report directly to the Project Manager of the engagement.
Responsibilities include:
·Business case definition
·Requirements gathering & documentation
·Process analysis & modeling
·Systems analysis & documentation (high level)
·Functional design and application storyboarding
·Quality Assurance (planning and execution)
·User Acceptance Testing (planning and execution)
·User Training & Support (planning and execution)
Required Skills
Excellent documentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
and Visio. Must be capable of preparing project deliverable documentation
for review by senior client executives.
Strong client management skills - must be able to interface with high
ranking
client executives and business stakeholders.
A working knowledge of the software lifecycle and the role of a business
analyst within it.
Experience working with one or more software development methodologies
such as the Rational Unified Process or other of equivalent status.
Required Experience
Must have a minimum of four years of relevant experience as a business
analyst or similar role.
Preferred candidates will have prior consulting experience.
Must have experience working on large systems development or systems
integration initiatives.
Must have experience working within a project team environment.
Preferred candidates will have experience working on systems projects
involving one of:
·Custom Microsoft development
·Custom J2EE development
·Packaged software implementation
