| Our client is s ing a full-time contract Programmer. As a technical
resource to our IT Developement
team you will
1. Develop, maintain and enhance various existing proprietary Financial
Reporting and Analysis
Applications
2. Maintain and enhanc BusinessObjects universes and reports
Qualifications:
Primary Requirements:
-Experience in developing financial reporting applications
-experience in system developement projects as an intermediate preogrammer
-3-4 years of experience in client-server progeamming with Visual Basic
and VBA as front-end tool
and SQL Server as backend database
-experience with MS access application design
-Familiarity with Access Object Model
-Experience with BusinessObjects
-Experience of working with DAO, ActiveX and ODBC connectivity
-Experience of complete SDLC (System Developement Life Cycle)
-Good theoretical knowlege of Relational Theory and Database design
-Understanding of good programming practices like Code Re-use, Modular,
Programming,
Standardization
-User-Interface Design skills
-Ability to create complex SQL Statements
-Familiarity with other MS Office software
-Creativity and enthusiasm as well as good communication skills are
critical
Secondary Requirements:
-Experience in C#
-Experience developing Oracle applications or administering Oracle
databases
-Knowlege of insurance operations
-Understanding of accounting principles
