US-GULF STATES: CONSULTANT - Portal/Java Developer

Minimum 8 years analysis/design/programming experience in general Web
development, with 3+ years experience in BEA Portal application development.
Strong analytical and documentation skills. Good communication skills
(verbal and written). Multi-platform experience (UNIX/Wintel, Oracle/SQL
Server) needed. Knowledge of BEA Portal (8.1), Java, J2EE, XML, and Web
Design in these areas utilizing UNIX, Oracle, Wintel, SQL Server platforms.
Experience with the integration of Portal applications into ERP/COTS
systems. Web Methods EAI skills a plus. Microsoft Office tool familiarity a
plus.

Provide expertise in the analysis, design and development of applications
in this environment. Assist in defining development standards. The candidate
must be able to work closely in a collaborative role with other team
members. Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with client
representatives, internal customers and vendor representatives are also
required. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Project
management and supervision/leadership responsibilities commensurate to level
of skills. Ability to utilize best-in-class tools, techniques, and processes
in the development of Portal applications.

Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or
related scientific or technical discipline. Masters Degree is a plus.
