| The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with the VP Business
Development and senior management team in developing,
analyzing, and implementing growth initiatives.
Market, Competitive, and Product Assessment
-Developing research plans and sourcing data from a variety of
sources
-Planning and performing customer and industry expert interviews
-Developing information repositories for gathered data
-Preparing detailed reports and analyses on new market opportunities,
competitors, and product/service requirements
-Presenting recommendations to the senior team
-Disseminating information throughout the organization
Acquisition Assessment
-Identification and evaluation of acquisition targets
-Developing valuation models
-Supporting the negotiations process
-Performing due diligence analysis including financial analysis, contract
review, risk assessment, and customer visits
-Supporting the integration manager on integration planning and execution
Education & Work Experience
-Undergraduate degree in business or other relevant discipline
-1-2 years experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting,
market research or analysis or related discipline
-Experience in the transportation sector or working with public sector
data an asset but not essential
-Acquisition experience an asset but not essential
