| Responsibilities:
-Install computer hardware/software quickly in a high stress environment
-Troubleshoot PC related problems involving MS Office 2000 and numerous
3rd
party applications in a distributed environment
-Work with a support team on resolving problems quickly and effectively
-log/track computer software/hardware installations
-maintain maximum uptime for all supported users
-may include or evolve to maintaining inventory and asset management
depending on the future requirements of the department
-Hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Qualifications:
-Thorough knowledge of Microsoft NT/Windows 2000 Workstation
-Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office & Internet Explorer
-Preference given to applicants with the following application knowledge:
-Microsoft Outlook/Exchange
-Microsoft Project
Microsoft Access
-Dataphile OMS/Execlear
-Citrix MetaFrame
-Thorough knowledge of personal computer hardware
-Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocol on ethernet
-Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management
-Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills
·Ability to train users effectively in both formal and informal settings
·Demonstrated problem solving/troubleshooting abilities
-Self motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision
-Ability to handle demanding work loads in a high stress environment
-Capable of installing computer hardware/software, quickly and efficiently
-Be flexible to work after hours or over the w end if needed
-Knowledge of communication and PBX would be an asset
