| As a member of the management team, this position will take a broad
corporate
view of technology as it relates to the business needs of our organization
and
set technology directions, an architecture and standards that can
accommodate such needs.
Key responsibilities will include the provision of leadership in information
technology and systems planning through the delivery of an architectural
framework and blueprint including technology guidelines and an annual
technology plan. This position will also have accountability for Quality
Assurance, Security and Disaster Recovery Planning.
A university and/or college graduate of computer science, you have
several
years' experience in IT and familiarity with concepts of architecture
and design
of technology environments. Your experience is further rounded out
by a sound
knowledge of security, quality assurance practices and disaster recovery
planning. Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Excellent
planning
skills with an in-depth knowledge of technologies and a solid understanding
of business drivers will ensure your success in this role.
