| This position will be responsible for performing a variety of duties,
including
providing information systems and technology support; managing CMHA,
Ontario network systems and infrastructure, maintaining operating stability
and efficiency, and ensuring network security; purchasing, deploying
and
configuring new hardware and software; and providing user training
and
support. This position will also work on web-related projects, including
database design and development, and web-server administration.
The successful candidate will possess a degree or diploma in computer
science or related discipline with a least 5 years experience in IT
involving
LAN administration; experience supporting and maintaining Windows 2000
Server; experience with supporting remote access software, routers,
and
network switches; experience with Microsoft Exchange server 2000, SQL
Server, and firewall technology; installing and troubleshooting Windows
2000 workstation and applications; knowledge of software applications
such as Microsoft Office XP, AccPac, Raiser’s Edge, Access, and InMagic;
web-development skills including knowledge of ASP, VB Script, Javascript,
SQL, XML; as well as excellent problem-solving, customer service and
teamwork skills. MCSA or MCSE or equivalent an asset.
