| The ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated Quality Assurance Professional
who will become part of a team charged with supporting the testing
process
for web-based development project. The candidate would be a key participant
in the quality assurance process, testing new development and production
support work items. Experience with software testing methodologies,
crafting
test strategies, test plans, manual test cases, defect tracking, and
excellent
interpersonal skills are required. The candidate should have strong
analytical
and problem solving skills and should have an extreme attention to
detail. The
individual should be flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced
environment. The candidate should have the ability to multi-task and
prioritize
assignments.
Skills Required:
-Setup policy, procedure, Methodologies which can be implemented at
corporate level
-Identify and setup tools for Regression testing, Stress testing ,
Data Validation
and Defect Tracking
-Design reusable templates for Test plan, Stress testing, Security,
Defect Tracking
-Draw the path for adopting the industry standard like TQM, CMM, ISO
-Must 5-8 years of experience of all phases of testing applications
in
business environment
-Performs a wide-variety of complicated tasks that require a high level
of
attention to detail and strong deductive skills. Must have the experience
and
know-how to successfully achieve complex goals with minimal guidance.
Will
be expected to be on-call to resolve emergency application issues.
-2-4 years experience developing/testing Microsoft windows and
web applications.
-Must have at least 1 year of solid C#.NET experience, especially creating
and
testing C#.NET Windows applications with SQL or MSDE databases.
-5+ years of testing experience with tools such as Winrunner, Test
Director or
LoadRunner
-2-5 years of Experience using the automated tools, and writing the
scripts
-Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be a
go getter
-Participates in requirements gathering session
-Capable of working in pressure of Delivery Timelines and able to work
overtime
on short notice.
-RUP/OOAD experience a plus
-2-3 years of experience as Business Analyst a plus
