| Reporting to the Manager of Application Delivery, you'll be a major
resource
on this interesting e-business project, which involves a major web
development initiative (using WSAD, Websphere and MQ Series, to integrate
with Mainframe PMS insurance applications.) As a member of the team
involved
with implementation in J2EE, you'll assume a lead role, involving all
aspects of
the implementation -- including code reviews, unit tests and integration
tests to
ensure the development of a high quality application.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-Five years progressive IT experience/3 in complex implementations
-Working knowledge of Component Development using Java/J2EE
-Strong Java development skills and experience with Servlet and EJB
technologies
-Hands on using Team Development and Java Servlets, JSP, JNDL, JMX,
JDBC and JMS
-Experience with STRUTS, Taglibs, and Model/View Controller Development
-Excellent working knowledge of HTTP, HTML, CGI, TCP/IP and SSL
-Good knowledge of J2EE design using OO methodologies and patterns
-Ability to read UML diagrams and familiar with Rational Rose
-Proficient in Unix and Linux environments
-Good knowledge of XML and XSL
