| Our client, A successful software company, is currently looking for
a permanent
Junior Technincal Specialist.
Responsibilities include:
- configure new functionality for clients based on direction provided
by
your peers and supervisor.
- Meticulously follow-up on outstanding items through the testing
phase
- Regularly communicate with your supervisor to manage client
expectations and provide regular updates.
- Complete special projects, as assigned.
- Previous experience with a utility company is preferred but
not manadatory
- Post-secondary education in a technology-related discipline
or equivalent
work experience is an asset
- Programming experience would be helpful
- A strong understanding of object-oriented languages such as
Visual FoxPro;
C++ or Visual Basic
is essential
- Experience with Crystal Report is an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Access would be an asset
- Outstanding oral and written skills and telephone manner are
required
- Able to work flexible shifts between 8am and 9pm if necessary
This position will entail some traveling.
