I am in dilemma and would like to s

advices on how best to approach
the situation.

My wife is getting a job transfer to China and we moving there at the
end of the year. I work for a different company and would like to
continue working for them. My company agrees to allow me to work
remotely; however, they are asking me to work as an independent
contractor. They would like to avoid tax and auditing liabilities.

My question is can I work for them as a 1099 contractor or do I have to
become incorporated?
