Brief Posting Description
Oracle is looking for highly talented and motivated software developers
with experience in developing of high performance server-side software
components. This position requires strong software design and
development capabilities and 3+ years of experience in C++ on Win32,
Linux, or Mac platforms.
Detailed Description
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an
active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices
and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing
software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and
debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Job Requirements
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of
advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing
direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent
experience relevant to functional area. A minimum of seven years
of software engineering or related experience required.
Additional Details
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop new products and components.
Qualifications:
* MS in CS (or equivalent);
* 3+ years of experience in C/C++ and Win32 UI or Java and network
programming;
* Excellent knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms;
* Excellent understanding of Win32, User Interface (GUI), threads, TCP,
UDP, IP, HTTP;
Nice to have:
* Knowledge of RTP, SIP, network security;
* Familiarity with Windows, Linux, Solaris;
* Knowledge of J2EE, SQL, and database programming is a plus.
