Spanish or Portuguese BILINGUAL - Job Functions: Insurance,
Management - Director, Operations, Sales - SBLI USA Mission We
are a financial empowerment company whose focus is the
value-conscious customer. We build long-term relationships with
customers and partners by providing quality products and timely,
courteous service. The Director, Customer Center Operations
position reports to the Vice President, Marketing and Sales. We
are looking for the right candidate to help us lead our Puerto
Rico office for several months and then return to manage our new
Chicago office, to open in late 2004. This position will
initially provide management and leadership for the sales and
service staff for S. USA's Puerto Rico store. Major Duties and
Responsibilities - Directs selection and training of sales staff.
Provides ongoing sales coaching to agents. - Handles day to day
store operations – scheduling, training, etc. - Handles customer
complaints as necessary - Provides support to management as
required, works as a member of the management team - Assures
procedures and practices are in place to meet compliance and
regulatory requirements - Assures the Puerto Rico operation (and
eventually the Chicago operation) attains its goals so that
Company goals are met Desired Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree
or equivalent experience required - Outstanding interpersonal
skills and service orientation - Life and health insurance sales
license - Operations focus – experience with resource allocation,
reporting and budgeting - Compliance background – must have
worked in a regulated environment and be compliance-oriented -
Goal and results orientation; problem solver - Effective in a
team environment - Excellent organizational skills - Insurance
sales, retail branch bank or call center experience a plus -
Experience with the Microsoft suite of office products - So
me travel required - Occasional w

end and holiday work required
