Spanish or Portuguese BILINGUAL - Job Functions:
Hospitality/Tourism - Develops and manage annual business plans
and budgets that achieve established standards for customer
satisfaction, food quality, food and beverage revenues and
profit. Develops and manage annual capital plan that has
acceptable returns on investment. Anticipates and react to trends
in the restaurant business, consumer tastes, and the competition.
Develops and maintain standards for food and beverage operations.
Reviews food and beverage operations to determine proper strategy
regarding pricing, quality, advertising, price/value perception,
customer satisfaction and employee training. Implement quality
assurance procedures to ensure acceptable health department
ratings. Monitors direct report performance standards and holds
managers accountable for performance. Delegates assignments.
Meets with employees to discuss career goals, identifies skills
needed to achieve goals and develops action plans to satisfy
both. Cross-trains employees, prepares employees for next career
opportunity. Effectively manages working relationships with
marketing, casino marketing and gaming operations to deliver food
and beverage services for banquets, special events and VIP
customers. College degree in business, or related field
preferred. Ten years food and beverage experience with at least
four years department management experience required. Must have a
thorough knowledge of all aspects of food and beverage operations
in a similar size hotel/casino. Multi-unit management experience
required. Computer knowledge to include HRIS systems, Microsoft
Office and POS systems required. Must possess financial abilities
and cost control techniques. Demonstrated ability in maintaining
consistent, high quality service levels; prior experience in
supervising work units; history of developing employees who have
been successfully prom
oted to increasing levels of responsibility; track record of
managing departments that provide excellent service to guests;
history of successfully marketing products/services. Excellent
interpersonal, customer service, communication, team building,
and problem solving skills are required.
