THIS IS NOT CONTRACT OR TELECOMMUTE POSITION

You will participate in the sale and delivery of consulting engagements within our client's Customer Insight Group. Engagements broadly fall within the category of strategic marketing, and typically are used to guide direct marketing activities. Projects
often include customer segmentation work and or modeling work to help clients acquire or retain customers through our client's Customer Targeting platform. Engagement work is diverse, often including strategy, market research, site optimization, channel o
ptimization, and more.

What you will be doing

** Scopes and sells consulting engagements for Customer Insight Group
** Consults with and delivers results to clients within tight time constraints that consistently meet or exceed the expectations of the client.
** Using knowledge of direct marketing and/or advertising, works with clients to develop solutions that will enable clients to meet their business objectives.
** Learns and delivers customer-specific analyses including but not limited to: Customer Segmentation, Retention Analysis, Lifetime Value Analysis, Customer Profiles, Market Research.
** Performs hands-on analysis of large volumes of transaction and customer level data.
** Manages client relationships and accounts within the context of the Customer Insight Group.
** Contributes to the success of other team members by providing training to others in areas such as client analytics, direct marketing, advertising, etc.
** Creates new analyses and/or tools that deliver customer insights that enable the Client to further their business objectives.
** As part of an account team, participates in sales calls for the Agency.
** Attends conferences and/or participates in industry panels as required.

What you need to get the job done.

** Intermediate-level SAS user with the ability to work with transaction-level data. Knowledge of SAS macros is required. Experience with data roll-ups is strongly preferred.

** Prior experience working on complex, data-driven assignments that require an ability to understand and navigate large data structures, manipulate and cleanse data and perform any and all necessary statistical analysis. Education The applicant must h
ave completed college level work. Master's level work in a quantitative field is strongly preferred.

*** 7 y of work experience in a business environment
** A minimum 5 y work in marketing.
** Management consulting and media-specific experience is a strong plus.
** Very strong business strategy and marketing strategy skills
** Very strong verbal communications and presentation skills
** Very strong written, particularly PowerPoint skills
** Very strong client services and client engagement skills
** Very strong project management and time management skills
** Proficient in writing SQL queries/statements.
** Experience with multivariate statistical analysis, logistic regression, linear regression, classification trees, and other segmentation techniques.
** Knowledge of cluster analysis, factor analysis, or survival analysis is a plus.
** Prior experience combining technical marketing expertise with marketing strategy.

** Worked closely with a client to identify specific marketing needs, develop business objectives, and then develop solutions to achieve these goals.
** Experience using data to derive marketing strategies.
** Successfully presented complex ideas/concepts to senior-level marketing leaders. The applicant must be able to demonstrate excellence in the following areas:
** Presenting complicated ideas effectively.
** Communicating orally and through the written word.
** Comfortable working in and contributing to a team environment.
