THIS IS NOT CONTRACT OR TELECOMMUTE POSITION
Senior Software Engineer working on an n-tier enterprise application. Responsibilities include web based user interface, web services, middle tier and database development. Core Duties/Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
<> Participate in cross-functional projects to develop new features and functionality.
<> Initiate, plan, architect, design, develop, test, document, and track progress of projects
<> Mentor peers and junior developers.
<> Promote and utilize the best development practices.
<> Work closely with product marketing and program management to determine feasibility and prioritize features
<> Other duties may be assigned.
Required Skills
<> 5+ years of hard-core software development of production systems.
<> Experience developing n-tier web applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, COM+, SQL Server, XML, XSLT and DHTML.
<> Strong product lifecycle skill set, from requirements development and planning, through development, test and delivery.
<> Experience working on very large, high volume, production systems.
<> Strong database modeling skills
<> Strong web services experience
<> Strong team skills
<> Experience with automated unit testing, refactoring, and iterative development methodologies
<> Object oriented design skills
<> Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical staff Education and/or Experience
<> BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
<> Success at initiating and completing development projects with responsibilities in all phases of development.
<> Success at participating in cross-functional development teams.
<> Continuing education in software development practices.
