I am an Executive Search Consultant from a Bangalore based Consulting
Company.

I m mapping the Researchers from World class Researcher communities
who could be good & Relevant in trying with World class Research LAB
in India (Client of ours research LAB is Exclusively for doing
Research on Machine Learning/Data Mining/Web Minings).

Currently we have few Researches level Openings at one of our Clients
Research Labs Across Few Locations In India Like Delhi & Bangalore)

We are looking for Professionals for our client. Here goes Brief about
the Position:

Research Scientist/Sr. Research Scientists
Are you looking to solve challenging, real-world problems on Internet
scale and validate it on large data (millions of users, billions of
documents and billions of clicks)? Can you create a strong influence
on the future of Internet Search and Advertising? You can do so, if
you become a Research Scientist and have the drive and ability to take
on complex problems and solve them in a scalable manner. We are
looking for exceptional Research Scientists to join our research team
at Bangalore with skills and experience in the areas of Information
Retrieval, Machine Learning, Algorithms, Multimedia and Distributed
Computing.

Your essential responsibilities include:
- Solve core problems with broad business impact in the areas of
machine learning, text mining, information retrieval, multimedia and
distributed computing, and deliver innovative solutions
- Interact with various engineering and product groups to understand/
anticipate the needs and collect data
- Nurture a talented and enthusiastic team of researchers and
engineers to deliver well-performing technology components

Experience - 0-9 Yrs experience

Job requirements:
- MS/Ph.D. from a reputed academic institution with research
experience in the areas of Machine Learning, Text/Web Mining,
Information Retrieval, Multimedia and related areas.
- Solid track record in research as indicated by patents and
publications.
- Willingness to work with engineering teams and deliver in a business
environment.
- Inter-personnel communication, team building and mentorship skills
- Prior research experience in the Web domain and web-related
technologies is a big plus
