hi everybody,
i want to pursue my PhD degree in computer field
, my area of interest is Software Engineering and Quantum Computing. i
have my master degree in computer applictaion and bachelor degree in
Physics and maths . can anybody help me to write my proposal for my
PhD.the unvierity in which appiled they are asking to write detailed
proposal.
but ihave no idea how to write it and there nobody to help me for the
same in my circle

i have great interest in Quantum computing though i have never joined
any collage to study this i studied my self from internet and some
reference in fact whatever knowledge i have regarding Quantum computing
is very little. now when i am applying univerity is asking to write
proposal for the same and i have no idea about that.

second i also have interest in Software Engineering but i dont know how
to write proposal for the PhD.

if anybody can help me to write my proposal than i will be grate full
to him.

with regards

The trick is to formulate a hypothesis and explain it. You have to
answer some research question. A good thing to keep in mind when you
formulate the hypothesis is: "Remember, in order to be awarded a
PhD degree you have to add something to human knowledge".

I am not sure I understand the problem here. Typically one enrolls in a
department and then selects a thesis advisor. That is usually done
through informal discussions with possible thesis advisors. Once one
has an advisor and a <mutually agreed> rough idea for research the
advisor would provide sample proposals and other guidance on how to
write a formal proposal that will fly past the department's review board.

You seem to be suggesting a different system where a proposal is a
prerequisite to enrollment in a PhD program and getting a thesis
advisor. If so...

Go to the university or department library and look at some old
proposals. Most schools keep the proposal with the thesis. You can
also ask the department for a proposal guide or, if they don't have one,
for a sample proposal. (Different schools and departments tend to have
different standards for PhD proposals.)

Better yet, make an appointment to talk to one or more professors whose
specialty is quantum computing. Eventually one of them is going to have
to accept you anyway as a thesis advisor. (If that isn't logistically
feasible, phone or write them.) They should give you guidance, sample
proposals, etc. because it is in their best interest to do so if you are
competent. (Professors need graduate slave labor to augment their own
research in the publish-or-perish world of academia.)

Ultimately, though, the PhD proposal comes down to identifying a
specific problem to be solved that has not been solved before and
describing an approach to solving it.

If you mean that literally, no. There is no other area of academia
where original work is more highly valued than a PhD and that includes
the proposal. You can discuss it and pick people's brains for ideas but
when you hit the keyboard it has to be all yours. It would be highly
unethical for anyone to actually help you write it.

[Apocryphal anecdote. An undergraduate classmate of mine took nearly
ten years to get his PhD. That was because twice he was within a couple
on months of completing it when someone else published the same topic.]

Yeah I heard that once, a long time ago.
