Our company is evaluating DOORS and Requisite Pro. Are there any other
requirements management tools we should be looking at?

Thanks, Dave.

I certainly hope so. I have no experience with DOORS, but ReqPro is one of
the most pathetic pieces of software ever created. I am almost convinced it
was created by an inept summer intern in the late 1990s, and never updated
since.

Just my personal opinion of course, but study the tool very carefully.
Do not just read the marketing material ...

There's a new open source requirements management tool available ...
you'll never guess what the name is:

Open Source Requirements Management Tool

It looks very promising, but it's on revision 1.1 currently and may
have a few issues. Anyone looking to jump into a very worth open
source project, here's your chance.

Hi,

There are plenty of requirement management tools available. You need to
match your expectation about the tool and the available functionalities
in a particular tool. Many companies perform a detailed study before
they go for a particular tool.
You might want to check the following website. They have a very good
survey of various requirement management tools.

Hope this helps.

Visit www.excelsoftware.com to see WinA&D for Windows or MacA&D for Mac
OS X. Both support comprehensive requirements management plus
integrated modeling, code generation and reengineering with tight
traceability throughout.
