In the w of Jan. 22-26, 2007, internationally renowned software
experts speak at a major software technology conference that is held in
Munich, Germany.

As technical chair of the OOP conference, I would like to make you
aware of this event.

The conference includes ca. 100 technical presentations and tutorials
on modern software development trends including requirements
engineering, model-driven development, UML, Eclipse, service-oriented
architectures, multi-site development, security, agile processes, Java,
and .NET and include the application of these technologies e.g. in
automation, automobile, medical, banking, insurance, and
telecommunications domains. The conference is aimed at software
architects, software project leaders, software developers, and
consultants. The conference sessions include also case studies of the
application of these techniques to well-known companies including Axa
Service AG, BMW AG, hama GmbH, Bosch, Cap Gemini, CollabNet,
Continental, Deutsche Post Com, Google, Intel, Lufthansa Systems,
MetaCase, M=FCnchner R=FCckversicherung, Roche Diagnostics, SAP, Siemens,
s=2EOliver,T-Mobile,T-Systems, Valtech, Z=FChlke, Z=FCrich Financial. Ca.
70 companies are represented in the accompanying exhibition (including
IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Borland,...). The OOP attracts yearly ca. 800
conference attendees and is a highly respected technical software
conference, especially due to the high quality of the speakers.

About 25% of the presentations are in English (usually a choice of two
English sessions per time slot).

Business and Development", James Noble: "The Lego Hypothesis" and
Bertrand Meyer on "Software Engineering for an offshored world".
