Hey i just had an idea...
Is there a way to evaluate the sound input from maybe a microphone?
To understand what i mean (sorry im german ^^):
I play a note on a guitar and i want my pc to know which note it is. I know that guitar pro 5 has something like that but it doesnt work for me, and i want something else.
Something like the usual audiolayer you get when recording with the windows audiorecorder but with a layer added that shows wich notes i played.

Is there such a program anywhere or is it possible to create one? for me?
(I have knowledge in flash and pascal, yeah i know its not the deluxe c++, java whatever skills)

please let me know...
