The next meeting of the New York City chapter of the International
Association of Software Architects (IASA) will be a joint meeting with
the New York Rational Users Group (NYCRUG).

It will be held on September 27, 2005. The meeting will feature an
introductory presentation on the Rational Unified Process (RUP). RUP,
and it's open source version the Unified Process (UP), are very
popular iterative development processes. RUP was developed by
Rational Software prior to its acquisition by IBM.

The presentation will be given by Allena Kendrick. Allena is the
President of NYCRUG.

The meeting will be held at Microsoft, 1290 Avenue of the Americas, on
the 6th floor, starting at 6PM.
