All true apart from that last bit - the UK is still using Sterling
not Euro.

Yep a one pager wouldn't go down to well on this side of the pond,
OTOH the CV that you use for job applications is expected to be trimmed
down to no more than three or four pages with the older stuff in very
sketchy outline.
