manufacturing company to find the best candidate for this test lead
position.
This is a full time position with outstanding benefits. This company
WILL pay for relocation.
Job Function: Provide leadership and coordination to develop and
execute test plans for evaluating concepts and performance of this
department's desktop and embedded software applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
*Provide leadership in developing desktop & embedded testing
processes.
*Coordinate this division's desktop & embedded software testing
activities.
*Work with Product Engineering and Test Groups at the various units to
execute desktop & embedded software test plans.
*Ensure that all software bugs / problems are properly reported and
recorded in the Event Tracking System or Test Director program.
*Work with this company's customer/cooperators to verify product
functionality and validate its acceptance.
*Ensure that all approved corrective action is implemented and
documented.
Particular Strengths Required for this Position:
*Must have a minimum of a 4-year degree in CE, CS, MIS or related
field.
*Must have working knowledge of several programming languages,
including Visual Basic, C and/or C++.
*Must have experience in a Quality Assurance role in a Windows (95
through 2000) desktop software development team.
*Must have demonstrated ability to develop, write and implement test
plans, record and track defects and prepare management reports.
*Experience with automated software testing programs is required.
*Must be able to develop a team atmosphere and coordinate the work of
others to provide test support for desktop & embedded software
applications.
Desired Qualifications:
*Experience with embedded electronics software is desirable.
*A good working knowledge Test Director / WinRunner is helpful.
*CSQE certification is desirable.
