What is a good book on the Agile development process? Is there a "bible"
here?

there is no 'Agile process', there are agile processes like the following:

eXtreme Programming
SCRUM
DSDM,
Adaptive Software Development
Crystal
....

Each of these processes are aligned with the general principles of the
Agile Alliance.

Take a look at...

Agile & Incremental Development, a Manager's Guide, by Craig Larman,
contains a good history and survey of the various holy scriptures.
