Author Seminar: Rail Systems - Software Safety - What's Wrong

Location: Williamsburg, Virginia

Date: Monday December 6

Time: 7:00-9:00 PM

For various reasons, often too much emphasis is being placed in areas of
little significance leaving higher risk areas exposed. If one could draw an
analogy to a ship one might say that people are too concerned with the color
of the paint meanwhile the ship is sinking.

Some of the higher risk areas that are being overlooked are pretty basic
from a skilled software safety practitioner's perspective.

This seminar should be of interest to rail system customers, rail system
suppliers, and rail system regulators. This seminar goes beyond formal
training in software safety. It identifies potential exposure areas and
what needs to be done.

This seminar is based on first-hand knowledge and experience with rail
systems and associated system safety and software safety programs.
